In December 2006, Chau's Electrical Co., Ltd. is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and 10th Anniversary of its listing under its holding company Solartech International Holdings Limited (HKEX stock code: 1166).

2006 is an important year for the Group as, in addition to celebrating its anniversaries, the Group has also reached numerous milestones during the year. In August 2006, the Group acquired Brascabos Componentes Elétricos e Eletrônicos Ltda., which has given it an immediate foothold in Latin America and the capability to diversify its business to cover the automobile market. With its new plants in the PRC and Thailand starting operation, the Group also saw its production capacity greatly enhanced for meeting ever-increasing customer demands.
